Lab

We had a lab the other day, and we were working with copper sulfide. When you heat this chemical, it changes from blue to white, eliminating the water in it. The masses change when heated. It wasn't the most exciting lab but I'm glad I got the opportunity to do it.

  1. I wish i could have been in lab! Dehydrating the salt looks so interesting! I guess as long as i know how to solve the hydrate formulas and problems ill be fine, but being in lab first hand would have been so much better!

  2. The lab seemed pretty cool considering the use of the Bunsen burner. I was close to doing it but not quite there since I made one simple mistake on the math pre-lab question. Oh well, hopefully I can get into cooler labs later in the year.
